This year’s start-up lab, from AD&PRLAB’s with Antenna music has been a wonderful and exciting journey of creating innovative ideas. They gave us the challenge of creating/forming our own start-up regarding the field of music, audio, radio, etc. With our team members of Τhe Sphere Silvia Ralli, Andriana Manioti, Xristos Piromalis, Eleni Ektoros, Marialena Tsavala and ZENIA BARRY we were able to develop and present to you our complete startup idea.

How did it all start?

As animal lovers and most of us pet owners we identified a problem deficiency in the market treatment of emergency or moderate need incidents of animals being alone at home or in the yard. After conversations and extensive searching we ended up with the idea of creating an application embedded with a GPS collar that connects to the animals owner’s mobile phone so you can connect with them via audio monitoring.

But before we analyze our application we have to say that we conducted a random survey with 80 samples total of animal lovers/owners. Aged 18to 70 the survey took place in the areas of Kifissia, Nea Erythraia, Agioi Anargyroi, Gerovouno, Kamatero, Haidari and in the center of Athens. The survey revealed that most people tend to worry about their animals when they are away from home for long hours either for business or a short trip. Some people also said that they have even lost their animals without knowing how to trace them and bring them back home.So along with the application we also offer a mid-price GPS collar for your pet.

How it really works?

When the animal feels anxiety, stress or fear then the application through the collar immediately gives a specific audio signal to the owner’s mobile phone. The owner can connect via video monitoring system with his animal or simply program an audio message with his own voice in order to relax the animal.

In addition when the animal is in panic or in a dangerous situation for, the application detects its heartbeat and sends an audible distress signal to the owner to let him know that their animal is in dangerous situation for it health.
