JOB SHADOWING

It is a fact that the university is a place where countless skills are given and the horizons of knowledge are opened wide for all students. More specifically, Panteion University in the Department of Media Communication and Culture with a focus on public relations and advertising gives the opportunity to the students of the department to attend the AdPR Lab courses. Without any doubt, attending the lab courses offers a lot of information and knowledge of the marketing subject to the students as there are many lectures by various distinguished guests and even very important projects with real clients companies are carried out every semester, where students experience a simulation of professional life in order to get closer and closer to their dream.

The director of the lab, Ms. Betty Tsakarestou, is always willing to help students with anything they need, as well as the other professors such as Ms. Iordanoglou who runs the last semester’s workshop entitled Leadership and Emotional Intelligence. Through this workshop, students are able to understand the value and importance of empathy and the concept of leadership. Who is a good leader? Who is a bad leader? And how students themselves can harness and exploit their characteristics in order to progress in their professional careers.

In line with the last project of the semester for this workshop, a profiling of a leader was asked to be carried out. More specifically, each group was to choose one or two leaders whom they admire and would possibly, in the future, like to work in the industry of their activity. Then an interview and an observation of his or her workplace and day should take place. That is, how his workflow is carried out, what can happen within his working hours and how he deals with it.

During the week I have several meetings with clients and external partners about solutions and products related to my work. Some moments are more intense than others, because working in technology many things are unpredictable and interdependent. I try to manage my time accordingly, but sometimes I may work late. In contrast, fortunately some periods are more relaxed and I can prepare my work more qualitatively.

For others

Empathy and Emotional Intelligence are huge skills of a good leader and leader as well as team ambition.

All evolved leaders and leaders start thinking emotionally in addition to practically and managerially

Sociables, guides, encouragers, encouragers who belong to the whole group and think about it constantly.

Our loved ones are those who believe in us and a default leader makes us feel like they believe in us.

Admirable leaders are leaders who leaned in with genuine interest in what their team had to say to them. They instilled good communication, prevented social commentary and rudeness, and communicated the right corporate culture that expresses each company.

She does not know about the evolution of business and humanitarian actions in her areas of engagement over the next five to ten years. But she believes very much in the new generation and believes that we are becoming more resilient and changing the mindset.

She wants to believe that we are all becoming a little more human.

Success secrets and perspectives

The driving force to succeed, the great tool of a typical day is being able to keep our confidence high throughout the day. A huge secret to feeling good is to succeed in very simple little things that we manage throughout the day that lead to many big things. One step next to the other covers us great distances; it all starts with baby steps, as coaches usually say.

It is important for us to think about what is important.

Kindness and Business is the new reality in the quality market.

It is very important what the market will say about the reputation and the quality of a leader’s character of a leader-leader.

We are not afraid of failure and we profit from it

Success is a muscle that is built little by little and whoever does not have the stamina to endure the years will not succeed. Many people think that entrepreneurship is conquered in six months but it is a half marathon distance needs experts and stamina.

Fearlessly forward…Trying your big dreams by starting with tiny steps. Don’t expect to achieve something big by ignoring small daily successes and accomplishments. They are all small steps that when joined together lead to the crossing of great distances. Create the right environment and always set your boundaries. Anyone who doesn’t set boundaries will last a while.

Secret of life Without sentimentality without drama listen to our psychology and our own body to judge what we need first

Moto

Commitment and high-moral goals

Humble leadership

Achieving goals in silence

Changing mindset towards failure

Failures are a part of success and ensure a better outcome

Win the day every day

Fearlessly ahead

EVANGELIA BALATSOU

For herself

Cognitive neuroscientist Cognitive neuroscientist and founder of www.greekgirlscode.com a company dedicated to inspiring young women in science and technology.

A pioneering leader, Evangelia Balatsou supports and supports unpredictable and interdependent situations, tackling and managing them with systematic and proactive thinking.

Constant internal reminder of the absence of perfection and deriving professional happiness and success mainly from the route rather than the destination.

The inclusiveness, progress and the will to continually learn are

attitudes that he adopts.

She intends and aims to continue to exceed self and boundaries and become a better and more fulfilled person.

After all, her career path has been non-linear and unpredictable and has been accompanied by many difficult transitions.

Emotional Intelligence is a key requirement for her to continuously evolve herself and to develop her other potential professionally.

She tries to be open to different opinions and change by being true to her vision and seeks collegiality and solidarity in her professional life.

She is happy to offer the knowledge she has gained to people who are not afraid to take risks and want to constantly evolve.

A PhD in STEM in a different field from her initial studies was the most important risk she took which opened new horizons and was a criterion and essential factor in pursuing her dream career. Technology is the field that moves and excites her and is certainly very compatible with her personality.

For others

Successful leaders are adaptable with a constant will to innovate in all areas and a work/life balance that is achieved over time through self-mastery

Books she recommends for leadership study:

Start with Why by Simon Sinek, The Art of War by Sun Tzu and Minority Leader by Stacey Abrams

For a person to succeed in her field she is required to have relevant experience with technology both as education and previous work experience, sales ability, a willingness to learn and innovation.

In the technology sector, flexibility and interactivity are certainly advantages.

A disadvantage is sometimes the uncertainty of the outcome, as technology is non-static and often unpredictable as a field and developments are rapid.

Secrets of success perspectives and prompts

The prospects for new graduates in the technology sector are very interesting.

In addition to the basic pure technology jobs, such as engineer, programmer etc., job titles in the technology sector now follow many of the traditional titles generally found in the corporate environment, such as sales, HR managers, project and product managers etc.

In the profession over the next 5 to 10 years, technology and its mechanisms will be more dynamically integrated and incorporated into further actions, as will similarly happen in our daily lives.

Finally, it addresses the graduates with secrets of success and urges them not to be afraid to pursue their dreams, to change their career or the country they live in and to constantly create new goals that will be fulfilling both professionally and personally.
